I have an opportunity to shoot a ballet performance in February. I'm very excited but must confess to being a bit of a ballet buffoon. Can anyone recommend any films which capture performance (ballet or otherwise) well?

I used to work in the book biz, and promotion is really tough. Most of the money most publishers spend is for placement IN the bookstore. IE, that stuff on the aisle at the cash register ain't there by accident.

But I don't have a 70 foot screen at home with the super surround sound! A LOT of movies lose their magic when they go from the movie theater to your TV. I don't think I've heard the argument for the other way around.
