Actually... there are some work arounds...
If you have the Apple Wireless Keyboard, you could put our AE stickers on the keyboard, then place a FCP skin on the keyboard when working in FCP and even swap over to a Photoshop skin when doing Photosho | | | | |

There are tons of direct (and indirect) keyboard shortcuts in AE - we have both an AE keyboard as well as our new color shortcut stickers (just $12.95) that should be very helpful.
