Hi Community, does anyone have experiance with MAC, Avid MC 4.x and Export (send to) P2 Card? If I use that option, sometimes it works, sometimes not and the software is crashing. when the export worked out, the P2 Deck says: cant play.

The Avid will certainly import DV files faster than Prores. The prores files would be imported into Avid, and Avid would have to convert them. Whereas DV files would be re-wrapped.

Look at the latest ATI cards such as the ATI 4830. You want 512mb of memory. These are DX10 cards so when you install Liquid make sure you also install the DX10 patch from the Pinnacle website.
