Hi Tedd, I have a JVC GY-HD200, I am using a Datavideo DN-60, runs around $580. It records to a Compact Flash card, using the firewire interface. I can double master to both the DN-60 and tape, so far haven't needed the tape, the files work fine

Is this captured/imported media or AMA? As long as the folder structure (Avid MediaFiles/MXF/1) is correct and there are Media Database files normally Avid does not care about drive letters.
