A client of ours has had problems getting Avid DVD to recognize 16x9 ref movies using the One Step process. If you have Sorenson I would export a reference movie of the video track. In Avid's export settings send it out at full (1920x1080) resolution

do a video mixdown of your sequence, than output a Quicktime referance movie. Than bring that referance movie into sorenson squeeze. encode it in sorenson to mpeg2, i think they have a DVD presets or something like that. then use Avid DVD or nero

You can just use the default DVDit settings and click burn DVD, assuming you did not edit anything. If you have any precomputes, you stil have to mix it all down as Avid still shows bad interlacing in reference files. You can skip sorenson either w

Nope. Every Media Composer purchase comes with the same third party programs, but in this case the DVD program is PC only. http://www.avid.com/products/Media-Composer-Software/specs.asp Doesn't even look like it's made for the Mac. Maybe try it
