If that's correct, I would use the Sony AVC Blu-ray templates because your source is AVCHD and this also uses the AVC/H.264 codec.

So for 720p we'd use the AVC-Intra 100 720/60 preset. That's what we use for our base Sequence Presets for everything we do.
