If you haven't heard. Creative COW has their own stock footage library now which includes templates. I just posted the first Apple Motion template, light leak and film flash template. Now the only thing the Stock Yard is missing is your templates.

In response to your second question, you can just remove the Render Files folder when copying projects, it can all be re-generated when the project is reopened.

OK, this is something that I would normally do in Apple Motion. In fact, other than photo retouching, or video prep work for stills, I rarely ever use Photoshop any more as I find the tools in Motion to be more clear to me as a designer than PSD. S
