7toX ranked 9th Top Paid Apps in the App Store. Just because I like looking at these numbers. Of the top 10 paid apps 7 of them are Apple apps. Of the three that aren't, Magic Window-Time Lapse Desktop is 7, 7toX is 9 and Angry Birds Seasons at 10

Keep in mind there's Top Grossing and Top Paid. While it's not detailed, Top Paid seems to be "units sold." Top Grossing is probably just that, raw dollars. In US Apple Store, FCPX hovers between 2 and 3 in top grossing, occasionally past by Pages

You are wrong. a) Not everybody buying an app is rating and reviewing it. Look at Angry Birds for instance. b) Is the number of copies bought, not the price what makes it top. c) If Apple is manipulating the reviews. Why FCPX is not four stars?
