Under Windows, the only video preview devices we currently support are the Blackmagic Design cards, and the AJA Xena cards when used with Cineform. We do not have any support for FireWire output.

we´ve installed a Mac pro (intel) + a aja xena lhe with bootcamp,and in macos it works with final cut like a kona amd in windows xp it works like a xena lhe under liquid chrome / adobe cs 3.works fine.

Yes, in both SD and HD with either the AJA XENA cards or the Blackmagic Decklink cards. Look under Options/Preferences/Preview device in Vegas and you will see the AJA card as a selection. For XENA, check out:

DPI is not relevant to video. To be more precise, it is MEANINGLESS in video. Video deals with raster sizes, and a 720x480 pixel image is the same whether you save it as "300 DPI" or "72 DPI".

We are actually using the AJA Xena to playback to SDI to a Panasonic HD monitor. I was told by AJA themselves that they currently do not support the 30 PN format, a very popular format for non broadcast applications.

Which board do you have? Are you saying that the link cable between the board and the breakout box is what you think the problem is?
