I am having problems with a trapcode plugin horizon. It says that it is unserialized and that I have to reinstall from the original installer. But I can't figure out how to uninstall it to reinstall it.

If you have the Invigorator plugin you can import .3DS and .obj files.
Your options once they're in there are somewhat limited though. They'll exist in 3D space and react to your cameras but they'll break the 3D render chain and you can't reall | | | | |

I am exporting a video from after effects in uncompressed AVI format.
It is 75 seconds long, or 1800 frames.

It's a good idea for a plugin but it has to do more than work with a single image. You may want to write to the folks at GridIronSoftware as they seem the most capable plugin developers when it comes to memory features in AE.

if you do a get info on the plugins, do they say 'after effects plugin' as the kind of file?
if not, are you sure they are fairly recent ae plugins? (like within the last 2-3 years... older plugins will most likely not work).

If you have Trapcode's Shine plugin, you could duplicate your video layer, apply Shine with no transfer mode (so your original, unaffected layer shows through), and then blur it out before adding the Glow effect - creates a more organic/variable sort | | | | |

Also, you can remove the shatter plugin temporarily from your After Effects plugin directory and see if it will start....I have had issues with some plugins and this worked for me...

Nucleo Pro is an After Effects plugin and requires AE to be running. You could minimize the amount of memory allocated to AE and reduce the number of background Nucleo processes to lower the memory requirements but you couldn't eliminate it entirely. | | | | |
