Thanks. We do calibrate to the Device Control Menu. Since it is on the Aframe on some takes and off the A frame on others, there is no consistent offset to correct this. If the takes were consistently off, that menu setting might help.

At the suggestion of the support tech at Dr. Rawstock, I tried creating the MPEG2 file from FCP4 quictime expor instead of compressor. This resulted in smooth motion in the final DVD of material captured at 29.97. I still have to try the next test, d | | | | |

Latest test, with capturing window time code, after reinstalling all the blackmagic software and replacing with newest driver updates--
The pref panel selection for a frames doesn't change anything at all in the capture, when played back in fcp4. th | | | | |
