As you can imagine, Windows 7 is not supported by the current release of After Effects. That's usually the case for any major OS upgrade that is released after the application itself.

1 - render the portion of the timeline prior to outputting via the Adobe Media Encoder. Make sure your stretched audio is playing correctly. Alternately, take it to soundbooth (via right click) and then render it back | | | | |

You have a lot of choices. You can test small portions of the timeline for multiple presets which is always a good thing to do. If nothing seems to be working, you can export as uncompressed AVI/MOV and then convert that to your final output. Fin | | | | |

Yes, you can ramp the camera's movement.
You can highlight the position keyframes, then right-click to open the contextual menu. Select Easy Ease.

As Richard implies, AE is definitely NOT the best application to use for good-looking H.264 video. For example, you can't do two-pass H.264 compression in AE, which makes for much better-looking video.

Umm.. care to share WHICH app you are using to compress or what you are exporting from.
I would alsways recommend rendering out square pixel... then take it into Adobe MEdia Encoder

Plug-ins are written in C++. You'll get the essential documentation when you download the SDK from Adobe. Adobe also has an SDK user forum.

Heya Rune, you have quite an unusual issue here. If coverting the QT PNGs to the Animation CODEC results in the same issues then it is likely an AE issue rather than the source footage.

It isn't clear how you have 'turned down the resolution'. Are you using proxies for this or simply lowering the comp's or layer's resolution and quality setting respectively?

I use Media Express on a PC system for injesting HDCAM to go to Bluray via Encore. I try to avoid using Adobe Premiere as much as possible (buggy). Media express works great for my requirement.

I'm trying to export my video but having nothing but trouble. After I exported my video using the Adobe Encoder, the video is laggy.
Video was shot at 30fps.

The best way to 'make something look more like film' is to shoot film.
The 30p to 24p conversion is useful for projects when sourcing from mixed media, and the end goal is something like a 23.976 HDCam.
