You can try the following: 1 - render the portion of the timeline prior to outputting via the Adobe Media Encoder. Make sure your stretched audio is playing correctly. Alternately, take it to soundbooth (via right click) and then render it back

You have a lot of choices. You can test small portions of the timeline for multiple presets which is always a good thing to do. If nothing seems to be working, you can export as uncompressed AVI/MOV and then convert that to your final output. Fin

Yes, you can ramp the camera's movement. You can highlight the position keyframes, then right-click to open the contextual menu. Select Easy Ease. This method may not give you enough ramping. If you want more, you can use the Graph Editor.

As Richard implies, AE is definitely NOT the best application to use for good-looking H.264 video. For example, you can't do two-pass H.264 compression in AE, which makes for much better-looking video. You're far better off to render out of AE us

Heya Rune, you have quite an unusual issue here. If coverting the QT PNGs to the Animation CODEC results in the same issues then it is likely an AE issue rather than the source footage. I can only suggest deleting prefs for a quick fingers-crosse

If I import my Premiere timeline into After Effects CS4, I can export the whole thing from AE in a .mov at 1920x1080 with square pixels and it looks perfect. Is there a way to trick Premiere into doing the same thing?

You have to run them through Quicktime Pro ($30.). In QT Pro, go to Window>Show Movie Properties>Presentation. Check the aspect box, changing the apeture from Classic to Clean. Save.
