Zoe ToupinGH2 for documentary: The Lens Question
by on Jun 26, 2012 at 7:36:58 pm

I'm going to be filming documentary portraits (of people) in the desert , with a lot of close-up's of faces but also wide landscape shots and low light, on a GH2 (which i might hack but am still concerned)

Here is my lens wish list, what do you think?

For low light
- Voigtlander Nokton 25mm f/0.95 Micro Four Thirds Lens

For wide angle, sometimes in low light situations:
- Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2.0 Lens
OR
Panasonic Lumix G Vario 7-14mm f/4.0 ASPH. Lens
OR
Olympus 9-18mm F4-5.6

ZOOM Lens, for face close-ups:
Olympus 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 II Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens

Different shots I'll be needing:
- getting intimate close-ups without having to shove the camera into the subject's face
- low light landscape as well as close-ups
- wide angle that can capture great sunrise/sunset scenes in the desert

My budget for lenses is 2700$

Any help is appreciated!
