Hi Terry,
Harry's right: most of specs are the same as the XF300. The one big difference is the size of the imaging sensor; the C300 has basically a 35mm sensor as apposed to the 1/3" in the AF300.
You'll probably get as many answers as there are people posting on here, but I'll give you my two cents. It really comes down to what your distribution plans are. If you're planning on having your projects projected, then a bigger sensor may be the way to go. You'll still be limited by the 50mbps compression in the C300 but, you could run HD-SDI out to a Nano Flash. (I believe) you can run HDMI out of the XF300 to the Nano Flash as well.
Just something to consider.
