Re: Selling an Idea to investors

Thanks Guys,

Feedback and Criticism is exactly what I came here for, so don’t hold back anything. Yes, I am a first time director and i know to ask for 350K for my first ever project is...well, ridiculous. I love the idea
of turning a few scenes of this into a short. I think that will really help get me on my game.

Your right that if we did use virtual sets that would cut the production cost down a lot. However, its a give and take. I mean, if the whole movie looks like that trailer, it'd be horrible, haha. It's like at the edge of cartoon-cheesy right now. However, if i do a bit of practice with Green Screening, and use some better VFX people than myself (I have a long way to go before i'm even decent), I do think it can come out really nice and not that noticeable. Your right about the machine guns, they look really bad. I'll have to check into that book and see what it says. I also have to go back and fix the spelling of experiment.

That’s a few things to do now at least. I can try to adapt a few pages of the script into a short. At least with that I’ll have some experience.

Thanks Noah and Dave
