HDV 720 24P best workflow to be transfered to film?

I am shooting a feature on a JVC HDV cam in 720 24P. I do not think there is a way to go HD-SDI out to a capture card... So what do you think would be the best way to capture to then transfer to film. This is what I was thinking:
Shoot HDV
Capture HDV to Apple Pro Res HQ via Firewire.
Cut in Pro Res HQ then output final cut of feature to 10bit uncompressed to a drive and send to transfer facility.
What do you guys think? Is this the optimal workflow?
thanks!!!
