I have Comcast here in Cambridge, MA and I was out of sync as well. I thought it might be my DVR as well. I've recorded other shows on other channels with no problem, but PBS has done it twice now. I can't remember the other show (it was awhile ago), but there was definitely a sync problem. So, you're not crazy - or we both are.
