I'd recommend "Alphadogs" in Burbank.

This is a "boutique" shop that's small enough to give you personalized service, but large enough to handle everything.

Terry Curren is the owner. Not only can you find him posting on the Avid L2 and FCP L regularly, he hosts the "Editor's Lounge" every month at his place.
