24p workflow. Kona LH vs Compressor?

What is the best workflow for 24p from a Canon HV30 HDV tape camera? (Cine mode)

My current setup is: Canon HV30, Kona Lh + breakout box, FCP 6.

Do I use the Compressor option with firewire capture?

Or can I have the the Kona Lh do the work? If so, which conversion option in the AJA Control Panel and also what ProRes timeline option in FCP?

The final product is going to be both web and DVD. I am a newbie, and have searched the archives, my apologies if this has been answered a thousand times before.
