I feel the best handheld option would be if the Ki-Pro was in a small sound mixer style case by Portabrace or KATA, and a snake containing SDI Co-ax and a control cable connecting the Ki to the large format camera.

This could be slung over the shoulder of the camera person. It's not quite like the old BVU days, because of the smaller size and weight of the Ki Pro.

I'd also have a quick release connector in the cable. If AJA could put in a audible warning system (like a loud beeping sound) if the video signal dropped out, you would get confidence recording.
