Warning...Cross posted on FCP forum....

OS 10.5.2
2 x 3ghz Dual Core Intel MacPro
10 gig RAM
FCP 6.0.3
QT 7.4.5
Kona 5.1

We are having sync issues. We thought we narrowed it down to ProRes non-HQ, but now we have a 1080i HQ clip that won't output in sync. It plays fine in the viewer and in the record monitor, but the output is way behind, and when output to a deck the timecode seems to run slow.

The sequence is 29.97 1080i easy setup and we are feeding the Kona 29.97 black burst and have our ref set to Ref In.

Just will not sync. So, is it Leopard, QT, Kona driver or a combination?

Again, thought we had it licked a couple days ago by using either DVCProHD or ProRes HQ, but here we are with the same issue and ProRes HQ.

Are we the only ones out here with this sync issue?
