Fieldproblem (dvcpro HD to digi... crosspost from fcp forum)

Been editing a big hd tvshow and mastered it on a digibeta with aja downscaling on the fly to SD anamorphic. (using the aja app, to downscale to sd) Everything looks ok on my monitor, but the tvstation say that our master has a field problem. (it's shot 720x50p with 25 frames a second). If they look at the tape they can see that sometimes the field 1 and field 2 is the same (correct), and sometimes field 1 and field 2 different, and field 2 is the same as field 1 in the next field. This does not cause the dreaded fielderror on crt screens, but they say that his is not optimal for mpg coding and might degrade quality on air.
Anyone know what this is all about ? blackburst out of sync ? Aja problem ?
(this is posted on the aja forum as well, since this might be an aja problem, not fcp problem)
