Matze,

Check out the many converters that AJA has that will allow you to go to just about any connection you may need. Also make sure you invest in the $300 Kbox, well worth it and it will give you component jacks to go out to inexpensive monitoring.

Since your stepping into HD, also check out their new Gen10 Tri-sync generator. For $400 it's a steal and a MUST.
