The only weird 5.1 issue we are seeing is with After Effects. We can't get realtime playback of HD material in a RAM preview. v4 and v5 did not have this issue.
It's as if the graphics card is an AGP card with bandwidth limitations. Turning off AE's Video Preview "solves" the issue.
