This is actually not true. I just picked up a brand new iMac 20" from the Apple Store tonight and it has Tiger installed. It included a "Leopard CPU Drop In DVD" that I am installing right now. But if I wanted to leave Tiger running, I would do that.

Maybe the Mac Pro's have Leopard pre-installed, but this iMac follows along with the reports I'm getting from everyone that I know, that Tiger is still the OS pre-installed on their Macs.
