The Sonnet D800 is based on the AMAZING SAS host controller card from ATTO - this is the ATTO R380 card. ATTO will update the firmware for this card in the next few weeks, and make it even more amazing.

We are in a unique time, where there are so many great storage companies out there (all who are advertising on Creative Cow.). Creative Cow is THE SOURCE to find hi end, inexpensive suppliers for all of your video system hardware needs.

With that said, when will Sony start charging $4000 for a HDCam VTR (just kidding !).
