Why can't I change the capture preset to 4 channels?

I can't seem to change the capture preset for uncompressed 8bit, even when I make a copy of the preset. The only option is 24bit 8 channel using the Kona 2. When I highlight the Audio Format tab, there are no other menu options besides that one 24bit 8 channel.

When you batch digitize, you are only allowed to use a capture preset, you cannot use the log and capture settings.

Am I crazy? I'm trying to recapture 4 hrs of digibeta media from an old project and cannot change the clip settings before I recapture.
