I just purchased an IOLA and I'm dissapointed in the svideo quality also firewire issues when using firewire drives. I did just receive a separate firewire card that should clear up the firewire issues. My plan was to getaway from dv 25 and capture dv 50 (great codec) via s video but now because of the s video quality I'm thinking of coming out s-video breakout cable from the component output thus not needing the s video which the IOLA has. I would go with the LH more capabilty for a few more bucks.
