Re: offline capture of HD24p from JH3 deck into FCP

Hello There...

I have a problem ,. I cannot digitize form HD-SDI to DVCPRO HD codec... the FCP app crashes out...
works perfect capturing to DVCPRO, DVCPRO 50 or Uncompressed.. (I'm digitising from 1080i50)

while I'm finding a solution to this problem.. I would like to advance in my project doing a offline...

Can I digitise to an offline RT codec?
will maintain the 16:9 and size ratio?

or

Can I do the offline with a DV codec (or DVCPRO50)?
again, what will happen with the sizes/aspect when finally I will do the online at DVCPRO HD 50?
