Pinnacle Cinewave HD BOB

Hi,

We're working with a Pinnacle Cinewave attached to a Mac G4 with Medea Raid. We recently purchased the Cinewave HD break out box; this allows HD-SDI input and output. Based on all the materials I read, this should work with our system and should allow us to ingest from HDCAM. I've tried a lot of different capture settings, but the video is jittery on playback and the audio from the SDI is garbled with static. Is anyone still using a system like this or has experience using this system? There are little to no glitches capturing and outputting SD video. My experience with the Cinewave is that we cannot upgrade the OS or Apple Quicktime because it will become unstable. Here's the specs on our system.

- Mac G4 OS 10.3.5

Dual 1 GHz Power PC G4, 1 GB SDRAM

- Pinnacle Cinewave 4.6 RT

- Final Cut Pro HD 4.5

- Apple Quicktime 6.5.1
