Hi Thabo,
You can try sending us the crash report to take a look at. A lot of times it can help narrow down where the problem is.
You may also want to try a test capture to your internal SATA drive to rule out the SCSI as the problem. Also, the SCSI card should be in slot 4 in your G5, and the Pipe should be in slot 2 or 3.
