conforming 720p 50 to 25fps

Hi all,
A couple of years ago I had a workflow for conforming 50p footage to 25fps using P2log pro and cinema tools (slo-mo with the sound retained). I haven't used it since FCP6 came out and it looks like the feature has been hamstrung?
I just tried to conform some P2 clips which were wrapped with log and transfer and cinema tools gave an error - something along the lines of clip has temporal compression?
I then tried it on my laptop which has FCS5.x and cinema tools had no problems. Anyone else experience this?
Does anyone have an efficient workflow for this using FCS6.x? If nyone can suggest a way to conform footage which has been put through raylight, all the better!
Thanks in advance
