Ben,
I've been dealing with Wexler Video for almost twenty years. Very reputable, responsible, and reliable.
No personal experience with Bexel, but I know that they've also been in business a long time with many, many high profile clients.
We've rented decks (HDCAMsr) from VER and they've delivered as promised.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of the companies mentioned above. Just be specific about what you want, and ask to speak to a rental agent that knows the gear.
