Media Manager File Problem
by

Howdy,
I'm on a Dual 2GHz Power PCG5, 6gb DDR SDRAM, OS 10.5.2, FCP 6.0.2., QT 7.4.1, PS CS2 9.0.2. I've had a strange issue occur after media managing a project. When I try to open the FCP media managed project, some files appear offline, even though I can see the files in the "media" folder in Media Manager. When I try to manually reconnect them, I get a warning notice that the problem is with the media start/stop time. All the troublesome file icons also have timecode listed next to them in the browser and I noticed under the "data" tab in the file properties that it lists "0" instead of the normal data rate info. Also, the types of files affected aren't consistent. Some are part of a series of sequentially ordered files from a camera hard drive and the other related files around the problem files appear fine.
Any input into what might be going on? FYI, another guy in my office had the same problem with a recent media managed project.
Thanks,
John Couture
