Jittery Playback
by

During playback (especially noticeable on panning shots) I'm getting jittery strobes. Here is the kicker, if you play the same clips back they may/or maynot jitter or jitter in a different section. So the media is fine.
System Rundown
DV NTSC
FCP 6.0.4
OSX 10.4.11
Dual 2.6s
-So I trashed my prefs
-changed the timeline to dynamic on both settings
-tried moving the media to another drive (then back again
-ran disk utility (there was one error in one of the three drives)
-restarted (first haha)
-AND it did improved. Its not disaster horrible now it just looks bad.
Recently I trashed hundreds of gigs of media, also i updated my system Via software update...
Any ideas??
Thank you for any help.
Alan
