My apologies Bogiesan. This behavior has been there some time and is designed into the application. It is not new as I first thought when it happened to be me recently. Many people find this function very useful. There has been some discussion about whether this behavior should be there and how useful it is, but it's not a bug by any means. I think the dropping of the up/down arrow keys when you do something in the timeline has also been there as well and hasn't changed. Not sure about that, perhaps Jerry has looked at this more closely.
All the best,
Tom
