Viewer functionality changed in 6.0.4

I'm not sure if this was intended (stupidly in my view) or is a bug. If you double click a clip in the timeline and open it into the viewer and use the up and own arrows to move between clips, the viewer acts as if it's in open playhead sync, automatically loading the clip into the viewer. This is great for color correction, dreadful for pretty much anything else.
All the best,
Tom
