compressor prblems

Hi
I am suddenly having problems with compressor when I go to 'submit' encode. I have a dialog box telling me Unable to 'submit to queue' 'Please restart your computer or verify your compressor installation is correct.'

I have restarted and fixed my permissions, how do i verify compressor installation is correct?
I have installed Final Cut Server a few weeks ago would this have anything to do with this?

any help appreciated
