Multi audio outputs!

Multi audio outputs!

situ: 7 spots all have 2 channel stereo mixes, but 4 spots have 3 channel mono splits. I've been working in a 2 channel timeline.

I can't seem to get FCP to map "A3" to audio output 3. On my audio tool I can see 4 outputs, but FCP maps everything to channels 1/2. I've moved my A3 audio down to other layers to no avail. I can make a new sequence and have 4 channels of audio, but can't seem to get FCP to map A3 to output 3 no matter what I do.

There must be an easy way. I don't do this often.
