DVCPROHD 1080i/60 to 1080i/50 conversion

Has anyone had any luck using FCP or Compressor to convert 1080i/60, 29.97 fps programs to 1080i/50 for European distribution?
I tried doing a conversion in Compressor, but have jerky playback and no audio on track 3. All 4 tracks are present in the conversion, but no audio on #3, which is sort of academic if the video doesn't look any good either.
I tried this on 2 DP 225 Power PC's with a Kona 2 card and a Kona LH card and a Mac Pro with a Kona 3 card, each with the same results.
I think this must be a job for a dub house and a hardware conversion. Any suggestions?
thx...jw
