FCP 6 dropping .mov extension on import
by Josh Wallace (joshwallacefromnz) on Feb 24, 2008 at 4:49:27 am

Hi,

I FCP 6 when i import Quicktimes FCP is dropping the .mov extension.
I have media that I want to reconnect and due to the FCP clip name not matching the .mov file name, I have to manually reconnect each clip seperately.
Does anyone know of a way to import Quicktime clips into FCP 6 and keep the .mov extension?
Ie the FCP clip name is identical to the actual file name.

Thanks.
