My question is: is there beta testing at Apple? Real beta testing with real editor editing real video.
How come they update FCP with so much obvious bugs like this one? It seems to me FCp is no more made for real world editing...
I don't even know which version of FCP would run best for me, as they all have some important bug in them. Should we all uninstall Studio 2 and get back to 5.1.4? (which is the last "ok" version that I remember of...)
and thanks for confirming that I'm not insane and that the dreaded snapping button comes back whenever it feels to.

"The whole issue smacks of "What the hell were they thinking?" and "Who makes the decisions on this stuff?" What meeting was held where a lobbying effort was mounted to impose this lame feature on the rest of us without an option to turn it off? What bonehead product manager looked at it in action and said, "Hey, this is GREAT idea! Everyone is gonna LOVE it!" ?"
