Matrox MXO Dell or ACD display

I know this has been beat to DEATH. I am about to buy into the MXO and a LCD display idea for my home FCP studio. the small price difference between the Dell and Apple does'nt matter to me .
I have seen no mention in these forums of the fact that the Dell 2407WFP-HC 24 inch LCD does have contrast control and the Apple 23 LCD does not.
Would that not make the Dell display hands down a better choice for color correction over the Apple display? The only advantage the Apple display would have is that it is 59.94 refresh rate compliant and the Dell is 60.00 refresh rate . 59.94 being better for broadcast?
How important is that refresh rate?
MXO and Dell seems to be the on paper winner? So does that leave it open to just personal eyeball choice or what?

What are your thoughts.......again?
