HVR Z1U capture issue please help
by joshk90 on Oct 5, 2007 at 9:38:12 pm

Hi I am having an issue with importing footage shot 1080i 50 into FCP 5.0.4. I can control the deck fine, but there is just a grey screen in the log and capture window. My FCP project is set using easy setup HDV- 1080i 50.

The camera settings are:

VCR- HDV
iLink- Off
Component- 1080i/576i
AV to DV out- Off

Can anyone help me with this issue. I have restarted a bunch, both the camera, computer(Macbook Pro), and FCP. Nothing seems to work.
