Reconnecting Media...buggy?
by swope1211 on Aug 9, 2007 at 2:46:05 am

Hi working in FCP 6.0.1 on a G5 dual 2.3 with 6 g ram osx 10.4.10.
I am digitizing to a 1.2T Jbod via fiber. I am trying to reconnect a large amount of media and even when I find my clips fcp is greying them out with the clip name setting on or giving me the different attribute error when clip name is off. ??? I never had a problem reconnecting in previous versions. I have read other posts with the same problems and I tried removing the extension but that did not work. Am I up the creek until the next FCP update? I am recapturing to avoid the possibility of clip errors and to avoid reconnecting one by one. Is this now a known and common bug?
thanks
s11
