FCP export to Quicktime
by samson508 on Mar 16, 2007 at 3:02:28 am

GDay.

As a test for a multi-screen display, i want to have a couple of HD-sized footages arranged in a box formation (4x4) within a single sequence in FCP. Hence, I am expected to set the sequence size to maybe around 7680x4320. However, FCP forces the maximum size to 4000x2000. Why is this so? Also, when i tried to export a Quicktime from this 4000x2000 sequence, all it gives me is black and without audio but with the correct duration. Has anyone encountered this before?
