Problem exporting Quickime Movie to Windows share

If I try to export self contained quicktime movie to a drive on windows computer on the network, it get's split into 2 gig chunks. If I export it to the Mac, then copy the resulting 5 gig file to the same Windows computer, it copies as a 5 gig file.
What is causing FCP to split this thing up?
