Have you played with AJA's HDV Playback Easy Setups? I was surprised when I did test Master out to my AJ-1200A via HD-SDI from an HDV timeline, the project was ready to output immediately, no long conforming process. Very cool if you can go that route or even play your HDV timeline directly to an HDCAM deck.
