How do I get my project into iDVD

I'm having issue bring my FCP project into iDVD. I just exported my project w/no QT Conversion applied to it. Now when I open it in QuickTime. The footage looks very pixelated. I've check my setting and my seq. settings match my source footage and my export options to. I've even looked at the source footage and it looks fine. What am I doing wrong is this the best way to get my project into iDVD?
