Edit in B&W in FCP7

Is there a way to temporally convert the timeline to B&W?

I don't want to convert all the clips to B&W. Just the timeline. I'm editing an action sequence and I find cutting between non graded clips distracting (I end up wasting time doing a temp grade in FCP)

I thought it might be interesting to try to just edit the scene without color.
